Genuine Love Kills Pride (Romans 12:9-21)

In our culture we are taught that the greatest love we can have is love of self, after all, you can’t love anyone else until you love yourself; or so the story goes.

In contrast the scriptures call us to not think of ourselves more highly than we aught, and not to act out of self interest.

Pride kills community, but how do we overcome that which is so deeply ingrained in our psyche?
