And God gave them over... Fine, go your own way. When human beings walk away from God they are walking away from the source of life, of logic, reason, meaning, purpose, and identity. The result, as Nietzsche once made clear, is that madness has broken out, the horizon has been scrubbed away, and all means by which to locate right and wrong, up or down have been done away with. How can we find our way home both to God and to ourselves?
